A Note From the Founder

Ten years ago I decided to open Camp Keystone Summer Day Camp. I hoped to create a place that truly fits into the life-building experiences every child needs. With the success of Camp Keystone comes another opportunity to help children grow and develop, Keystone Swim School. It’s a swim school where children are cherished and encourage to have fun while learning important life-long swimming skills. It’s the place where love and water mix!!!

Larry Klein, Founder/Owner
Larry has over 30 years of experience in the field of day camping, child care, family recreation and theme parks. His proven track record includes developing several successful companies and running one of the most successful day camps in Southern California. He is a very proud father of twins and has coached both girls and boys youth sports.

Elyse Olkes, Swim School Director
As mother of two, a Master Scuba Diver, and former competitive swimmer, lifeguard, and swim instructor, Elyse brings her knowledge of swimming along with her understanding of children’s needs to the Keystone Swim School. The basis of this program stems from love and patience which when combined is the essence of our program: as long as you love children, you can teach them to love swimming.
